​With 30 years of recruitment experience across the UK and overseas, Karen Stacey founded Melior Recruitment with a simple purpose: to deliver a more honest, effective, and people-focused approach to accountancy and operational recruitment.
​
​Karen has built a career on trust, tenacity and has a deep understanding of the entire recruitment process. She has held senior roles with global brands like Robert Half and TMP Worldwide, as well as boutique firms. Her expertise spans permanent, interim, and project-based recruitment, and she’s known for her strategic, no-nonsense, and ethical approach to the hiring process.

Alongside running Melior Recruitment, Karen is also proud to serve as a trustee for ActivLives, a community charity based in Suffolk that promotes health, wellbeing, and inclusion across all ages and backgrounds. Giving back to the community and supporting initiatives that improve lives is close to her heart, both professionally and personally.
Outside of work, Karen enjoys live music and exploring the outdoors with her partner and their Norfolk Terrier, Maxi. She also swims, practises yoga, takes part in hog runs, and is a bit of a gastronome.
